Marine Teak Carpenter
Teak Techs is seeking an experienced marine teak carpenter to join our workshop. You'll work on yacht teak deck fabrication, installation, recaulking, and refinishing projects for vessels ranging from sportfish to superyachts. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision craftsmanship, works well in a team environment, and is comfortable working at shipyards and marinas throughout South Florida.
Requirements
3+ years marine carpentry experience Experience with teak deck installation and repair Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications Reliable transportation to shipyards across South Florida Comfortable working on vessels of all sizes
Apprentice Marine Carpenter
Looking to start a career in marine woodworking? Our apprenticeship program teaches the fundamentals of teak decking, marine carpentry, and yacht restoration under the guidance of master craftsmen. This is a hands-on role — you'll learn on the job while contributing to real projects from day one.
Requirements
Eagerness to learn and strong work ethic Basic carpentry or woodworking experience preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor/marine environments Valid driver's license
